Prior to this, I was using a custom theme from. I guess they are adapting this colour theme from the GTK-theme in Linux desktop. It can be changed under Options -> Configure TexStudio -> General -> Appearance -> Style, Adwaita Dark (txs) is just fine for me. You can add the follow code in your template. Finally, you can further modify your color scheme by going to Options > Configure TeXstudio > Syntax Highlighting.Restart TexStudio and open a file, and you should see the dark themed editor! Dark Theme: There is an alternative dark theme ( Dark.css ) which is based on Base.css and just overwrites the colors.and load the newly edited custom-dark1.txsprofile. Using the macOS dark theme after the upgrade from 2.12.16 to 2.12.18 a whole bunch of gui elements are not really well readable anymore.
